These links were embedded within the body of niche-relevant articles, offering both SEO equity and topical alignment, especially from domains covering SaaS, procurement, or finance-related content.

Next, we included guest post byline links (15–20%), which are often found in the author bio or at the end of contributed blogs. These not only helped with backlink variety but also supported brand visibility by putting Discover Dollar’s voice across credible platforms.

We also secured business listings, which were largely nofollow or mixed in nature (~10%). While they didn’t pass much link equity, they reinforced local and brand citations, which are useful for trust signals and NAP consistency.

Finally, we used press release syndications, which typically result in a mix of dofollow and nofollow links. Though some of these links didn’t directly contribute to SEO rankings, they were valuable for gaining media visibility and referring traffic from high-DA news portals.

Together, this well-balanced approach helped us maximize link value, ensure authenticity in Google’s eyes, and support both rankings and brand recall.

All thanks to our comprehensive on-page optimizations, ranging from fixing broken links, implementing proper H1/H2 structures, optimizing images with alt attributes, and ensuring mobile responsiveness, the site’s overall performance improved drastically. 

This not only enhanced user experience but also aligned the website with Google’s Core Web Vitals, resulting in faster load times, better crawlability, and stronger SEO signals.
